As of May 2023, Visabeira Investigação e Desenvolvimento, S.A. promotes the Test Bed ViTEB within the scope of the National Network of Test Beds to support SMEs and Start-ups in the development, experimentation and testing of new products and services.
The ViTEB Test Bed is a Hub for Innovation that will provide companies with infrastructures and technical and technological skills to support the development, research and testing of new products and/or services on a pre-industrial scale, with a strong digital and/or virtual/digital simulation component.
The ViTEB Test Bed is aimed at the sectors of Industry, Circular Economy, Environment and Sustainability, Tourism, Telecommunications, Mobility and Logistics, Information Technologies, Communication, Electronics, Energy, Commerce and Services and Smart Cities, in the thematic areas of Artificial Intelligence, Additive Manufacturing, Collaborative Robotics, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Data Science and Big Data, Micro/Nano Electronics, Digital Simulation, Cyber-Physical Systems, Distributed Computing and 5G Connectivity.
Test Bed ViTEB aims to contribute to supporting companies in transition processes from the development phase to obtaining marketable products and/or services that are able to enter the market, as well as to share knowledge and experiences through successful use cases.
