The Information Security Management System (ISMS) implemented at Visabeira I&D has been awarded the Certificate of Conformity under the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 - Information Security Management Systems standard.
As of now, there are approximately 47,290 valid ISO 27001 certifications worldwide, with only 209 belonging to Portuguese companies. Visabeira I&D is now part of this exclusive group of companies headquartered in Portugal, being the first and only company based in Viseu to achieve this certification.
What is Information Security?
It is a comprehensive set of practices, policies, and tools used to protect data and information systems from unauthorized access, improper alterations, destruction, or theft—whether in the physical or digital realm.
