Last September, Visabeira Investigação e Desenvolvimento SA, a partner in Research and Development, travelled to Lombardy to visit MADE - the Competence Centre for Industry 4.0.

MADE is Lombardy’s Competence Centre for Industry 4.0, based in Milan. Its mission is to implement guidance activities, training and technology transfer projects with companies in the area of Industry 4.0. Visabeira I&D was kindly welcomed by Maria Rossetti and Dario La Carrubba, who explained MADE’s mission and objectives, as well as its operating model.

The MADE Competence Centre, is a technical partner that companies turn to for support during the digital transition to a smart, connected and sustainable factory. MADE is deeply involved with companies, promoting their awareness in terms of Industry 4.0 issues. This immersion in companies results in the development of training courses for technicians, but also for the more strategic profiles of companies, as well as numerous technology transfer projects.

The ultimate goal of MADE-CC is to maintain the profile of companies at high, competitive and sustainable levels of performance. MADE is a reality created by MISE (Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy) to support companies on their digital transformation journey.
